Sacramento Road Cruisers

Upcoming Events

Please NOTE:  The SRC now has a NEW Website.  You will find the NEW URL below.  Paul is retiring and moving on.  This site will remain in existence because there are thousands of links to it.  Please note the new address and BOOKMARK IT !
I'm trying to keep up with the EVENTS Page (you are here) until Frank gets a handle on the new site.  However, since I'm not in the loop any longer, some rides may have changes that aren't reflected here, so please be sure to check the new site, and/or call Sparky.

Thanks for the memories!!!!!

Note to non-members: any rider on any brand/model bike is welcome as a guest at our events.

The club will try to have regular rides on the first and third weekend of each month (at least).  Ride destinations and times may not always be determined well in advance. Keep checking back here or phone one of our officers (referral shown at the bottom) for the latest details.

Please Note: The schedule is subject to change.  For last-minute updates, you have two alternatives.  Thanks to Jack Wyscarver, the club now has a hotline to call to check the status of any ride.  Just call (916) 386-2654.  If that doesn't help, you can contact Bob Stowers (officers' page - link above)

HELP!

Note: This Master schedule is a “living document”.  That means that this schedule while posted is not permanent and at any time it can be updated based on the wishes of the club’s membership.

A SAFE-RIDING MESSAGE:  Speaking of riding, we would like to take a moment to speak about riding safety.  SRC has very few rules and the ones we have are meant for everyone's safety.  Remember when you are riding in a group, all the other riders are counting on you to be where you are suppose to be at all times.  Formation riding requires much more concentration and a higher degree of skill than riding solo. This is not the time to wander all over the highway.   Please remember when we are riding in a staggered formation you ride in the opposite lane of the rider ahead of you and in the same lane as the rider in front of him or her.  Stay 2 seconds behind the rider in your lane and one second behind the rider ahead of you which ever is greater.  We have had a great year this year and by following a few simple rules we can continue to ride together safely.  Thanks for helping all of us ride often and ride safe.
