Dinner Ride to Giovanni's - October 2006 - Sacramento Road Cruisers

RIDE REPORT:

5 riders and 5 bikes make the trek to Giovanni's in Colfax. Saturday afternoon was a great day to ride. The weather was was nice and cool but not so cool that you had to wear a jacket.

We left IHOP a little late as the traffic was really bad coming across town. Once fuelled up the group headed for dinner.

Now mind you I haven't done this ride in a couple of years so I thought the map was up to snuff. WRONG!!! what I had not noticed was the directions kept heading me up the hwy. Not good. Then up the road I missed the turn for Nelis so we ended at a dead end. To say the least it was a fun ride with some very pretty riding.

We did make it early to dinner (about 10 min). Once we got seated it was on with the food. Service was great and the food is great.

After dinner we all headed down the hill to Auburn were we split up with Frank and Richard heading their own ways and Jeff, Frank and myself headed down 80 to home.

We had a good time both at dinner and riding.
