| With possible scattered showers forecast for Sunday the 13th of March the event went off without a hitch, well one rider dropped his bike. His pride was hurt the most. It looked like rain most of the day, but not a drop till late in the afternoon. We had 125 Sign-ins, AMA Riders: 44, AMA Passengers: 4, Non AMA Riders: 56, and Non AMA passengers: 22. I believe the forecast scared away a lot of participants. Our fundraiser; Shoes That Fit, did well. We received 34 pairs of shoes, and $80.00, in cash donations. Thank you. Capital City MC took Club Participation, Oakland MC Club Man Miles. Sheila Keene-Larsen took the 1st High Hand Award. Coral Kruger 2nd place High Hand. 1st place Low Hand went to Mike Twitty, 2nd place to Ray Thompson. Our Gold Nugget winner was Mike Bachus he received $76.00. Next year we will be celebrating our 75th anniversary. We will keep you posted. I would like to thank all the participants who attended our event. It will even be better next year!! | ||
