Welcome to this tribute to the men and women who serve and have served our country.
Why another page when there are already so many on the Internet?  I guess I just got tired of receiving e-mails about this and that, and pass this on and pass that on.
Actually, what pushed me over the edge was watching "Yankee Doodle Dandy" the other night.  James Cagney playing George M. Cohan as eloquently as could be, and reflecting the whole concept of what America was.  It was wonderful to see Americans supporting their troops, and believing that their country was the best around.  Guess what, America, it still is.  Only the people have let it down.  Of all the Cohan songs in this movie, the one that struck me to the soul was "Over There".  There were many songs equally as good, or better, but this is the song that EVERY American today should be singing or at least humming.  In case you don't know the song, please click the following to hear it.  If it doesn't move you, I don't know what else to say.

Chorus

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there
That the Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming
The drum's rum-tumming everywhere
So prepare, say a prayer,
Send the word, send the word to beware
We'll be over, we're coming over
And we won't come back till it's over, over there

I decided to get off my armchair and show the world that MY Country, and OUR Country, is much more than the political hodge-podge and international laughing-stock.

There are thousands of web pages that talk of standing up and taking our Country back.  Read them carefully!  They should be listened to and followed.  We, the armchair quarterbacks of the new, lazy American Society have fallen victim to being directed and dictated by the media and politicians of this country.  One article I read recently called it "Media-Itis".  That sums it up.  Interest rates are, once again, near record lows, yet the media has told us that we are in a housing crunch.  Are we supposed to wait till these rates are back up to double-digits?  Because they have fabricated this "crisis" they can now convince the armchair quarterbacks that we are in a recession, or quickly falling into one.  C'mon people, how stupid is this?  Because we are a democracy, our businesses are free to practice at will.  As a result of greed, oil companies continue to post RECORD PROFITS, and mortgage and loan companies are writing off 'bad' loans instead of working with people.

We, the people, need to stand up and tell them that we've had all we can stand and we cannot stand it anymore!  (Thank you, Popeye!)   Our elected representatives, for the most part, have lost the true meaning of their responsibilities as well.  They are so caught-up with their Democrat/Republican hatreds and their greed to get votes by selling out our County, they spend all of their time pointing "the finger" at everyone else and accusing everyone else of everything so that nobody sees what they are doing.  It's time to stop this nonsense.  Write your representatives and tell them to stop.   It may seem like a waste of time, but if millions and millions of true AMERICANS deluge them with the same order, we can only hope that we can catch the attention of the few.  The rest need to be voted out.  Who am I talking about?  There's no need to name names.  Just search the web (because your normal media will not report on it) for the names of those who refuse to vote for making English our national language.  Search the web for those who are giving away our national heritage and the sacred right of Citizenship so that they can accrue votes to stay in power.  Search the web to ferret out those who would disassemble our military.  Those are the people who need to be removed from office as soon as possible.  WE NEED TO STAND UP AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!!!
